| A new design about wireless handheld control device based on ARM9was proposedwith the wireless-transmission-shock-wave-overpressure testing system as the background.Designed handheld device can be applied in shock-wave-overpressure testing systemwhich has functions of wireless data transmission and control. The system is used to measurethe peak value of the shock wave overpressure accurately. And this peak value along with thewave’s impulse are used to assess the explosive power, being of great significance in the areaof defence, industry and life.With the application of handheld device in test system, transmission of instructions anddata between devices can be quick and efficient. During the shock wave measurement,because of the unsatisfied testing environment, problems of weak signal and instability in thelong-distance wireless transmission presented. As for the handheld device, compared withtraditional PC, it can be easily achieved by WiFi to control the measure system, being moreintelligent, portable and easy to control.Design of the handheld device includes four parts as following: the construction ofhardware platforms, establishment of the softwares’ development, writing and transplating therelevant drives programs and design of the application of GUI interface. In this paper,TQ2440demoboard (CPU S3C2440AL, Tianqian Co.) was chosen as the hardware platform.S3C2440AL is one kind of processor which is built on ARM920T kernel and embeddedmicroprocessor of high performance and multi-interface. The "Host and Target" pattern isused for the software development. At first, the build environment for host computer wasestablished, including installations of Linux system, cross-compiler, Busybox, a tool toproduct file system, and Qt4softwares. Then, software environment was built, includingU-Boot, Linux kernel and complination and transplantation of file system with qt4.5. Drive for WLAN card was accomplished in the host computer and successfully transplanted intotarget machine. GUI Interface was obtained with Qt software, which means thetransplantation of Qt application into TQ2440host version. According to results of couplestimes of testing, this handheld device can meet all the requirements of shock wave testingsystem based on wireless network. |
