Research On Avoiding Disaster Mechanism Of Small Independent Wind Power System In Marine Environment

As a renewable energy which is most widely used by humans, wind power now is growing rapidly. As the main use form of wind energy, wind power technology has become mature with more than 120 years' development. China is a country rich in wind resource. Although wind power technology starting late, the introduction of foreign advanced technology and the urgent domestic needs for development of new energy promote the research and application of wind power greatly in the 21st century. At present wind power is moving toward all regions and areas. Island and coastal regions, are located in the areas which are rich in source of wind, have an average of more than 6000 hours of available time for wind power per year. Narrow long coastline and numerous islands provide favorable conditions for developing wind power. Most of these areas can't be covered by grid and are restricted seriously by the lack of power. So it has bright prospects to develop wind power. Small independent wind power system has the advantages of flexible layout, convenience, independent power supply and safe application. And it is suitable for islands and the coasts. These areas are located in the marine environment. As the existences of extreme weather such as moisture, high salt, lightning and destructive wind, it makes the system to face ordeal. The author combine the existing achievements of scientific research and own experience to discuss the operation of the system and the challenges in the Marine environment. Also the author dedicates to research on avoiding disaster mechanism of small independent wind power system in marine environment to put forward a marine independent wind power system which has the function of resistance to corrosion of marine salt fog, high reliable bearing, lightning resistant and speed protection under destructive wind. Make sure the system can be operated safely and stably. It can also provide technical supports for developing wind resources of the areas and improving the local production and living conditions while protects the local ecological environment.
