Marine power station is one of the most important devices to the whole ship, un-dertaking the task of supplying electric power. Its safety and reliability is great signifi-cant to ensure safe sailing. Automation control technique is adopted in the marine power station. The programmable logical controller (PLC) is applied as core controller to achieve the design of paralleling operation and frequency and active power auto-regulation of marine synchronous generator in the thesis.According to its operation principle and relative regulation rules, the work process of marine synchronous generator is analized at first, which includes the condition for automatic startup, switch-on and power supply, parallel operation, heavy load inquiry, separation and shutting down. Then the relative logic flow chart is designed. AT last the frequency and power regulator is realized, using SIEMENS S7-300 PLC as core con-trolled working with the signal acquise unit. So, the speed of the synchronous genera-tors can be adjusted according to the frequency of the net, and the output power of syn-chronous generator can be adjusted according to the load of electric net work too.The software STEP7 version 5.4 is adopted to program the functions of automatic startup, parallel operation and so on. Compiler ADP6.0 of Tianjin Luosheng company is used to design the human interface of the system.
