With the progress of ship power station technology and increasingly high degree of automation, to its automatic control requirement also corresponding taller, and automatic frequency and load system is the most one important of marine power station control system, which determines the ship's power supply continuity, reliability, affordability, and quality of power supply. This topic comes from the laboratory of experimental platform for ship power station construction and debugging the project, the use of PPU and PLC control on frequency adjustment in marine power station, which studies on the automation of ship power station has important practical significance.This thesis expounds the design principle of ship power station automatic frequency-load adjustment system and the method for its realization. On the basis of a study of the development in the latest technology of marine electrical automation at home and abroad, we have adopted Siemens S7-300 PLC and DEIF's PPU vehicle protection unit for the control of the core, to control the automatic adjusts the frequency and load system of ship power station. PPU and PLC which through data acquisition power station live data, completed on ship power station automatic parallel operation, automatic splitting of an outage of automatic frequency adjustment function. Main contents in the paper are as follows:(1) Design principle analysis of automatic frequency and load adjustment;(2) Hardware wiring principle design of automatic adjusts frequency and load system of marine power station;(3) Software process principles design of automatic adjusts frequency and load system of marine power station;(4) Action and effectiveness testing of automatic adjusts frequency and load system of marine power station.The system can be grid frequency regulation,when the parallel operation between the generators of power distribution regulation and reconciliation before the splitting load transfer control, automatically according to the collected data for real-time monitoring of marine power station operating conditions, such as abnormal, which automated alerts, and perform the appropriate protection actions.Action and effectiveness testing proved that this automatic system closed regulating point accurate; When the load has a disturbance, the frequency and generator power of the power network will change, the automatic adjustment system will stabilize the frequency, and evenly distribute the power average for each generator.
