Development And Application Of Acoustic Emission Testing Technology In The Chemical Production

Now many large refineries and chemical companies to improve economic efficiency, the implementation of long-term operation unit. Although substantial benefits, but with aging equipment, security issues have become increasingly prominent. Therefore, an urgent need to ensure both a safe and economical testing and safety equipment online assessment methods. The acoustic emission detection and comprehensive evaluation of the integrity of the device technology is to solve the new method of online testing.In this thesis the background of the subject is introduced, and the history and state-of-the-art of acoustic emission testing technology are summarized. The basic principles and character of acoustic emission testing are described, and the main application fields in China and abroad is also investigated. The composition of acoustic emission testing system and engineering application of defect analysis are described in some aspects combined with the actual situation of (ji hua) company, such as pressure vessels, pressure piping, pressure tanks, valves, rotating equipment, welding, etc. then the data acquisition technology in abnormal condition of the acoustic emission testing system in chemical enterprises is studied; In order to guarantee the stable operation and life extension of over-age equipment, the acoustic emission monitor and analysis in crack propagation, fracture mechanics and stress corrosion cracking process are investigated. Finally, the urgent problem and development tendency of acoustic emission testing technology in chemical production are proposed.
