Analysis Of The Campus Landscape Planning And Designing

The campus landscape planning and designing has gained long development recent years with Chinese senior education. Some problems have also been exposed though there are so many helpful experiences in this period. The essay combined foreign with Chinese professional landscape planning works especially the ones about campus planning and designing. Also the author visited five cities' new and old campuses including Tianjin, Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing and Xiamen. There are three historical periods according to the different features which the campus landscape expressed in the different historical periods. Inner and outer factors can be decided to be the ones that influence Chinese campus landscape planning and designing. The inner factors are landscaping designing theory, designer and art schools while the outer is the impetus which is generated by the technology innovation. Six principles of the campus landscaping planning can be gained through positive and negative examples, which are Sustainability, humanity, social relationship, unique, safety and generality. This thesis analyses the campus landscape planning and factors in detail, addresses the author's methods to some problems such as topographical reforming, naming, water purification and plants designing. At last, the author investigates the campus landscape planning and reforming of Tianjin University to solve the contradiction between human and nature in the extant landscape, also to suggest how to treat separating of landscape belts and inharmonious styles of the old and new architectures. The essay includes several valuable suggestions in the aspects of transformation, energy saving, impact planning, funding and managing which will be useful to the new campus landscape planning in the future.
