Study On Quality Management Of Municipal Road Project

With the increasing development of urban construction in china, the quality of municipal road project becomes more and more important. The municipal road project quality not only reflects the appearance of the city and the image of the government, but also highly related to the continuously rapid development of national economy and the safety of people's life and property. However, the uniqueness of municipal road project itself makes the project implementation more complex and the quality control more difficult. Because of the quality defects and problems that cannot be ignored under the current situation of municipal road, we need to enhance its quality management. Thus this paper will study on the quality management of municipal road project.Grounded on relevant theory of quality management, we focus on the problem of municipal road quality to explore an advanced quality management method for municipal road project. We firstly give deep analysis of the concept and forming of quality, study into the municipal road quality's characteristics, influencing factors and common quality defects including those appearing in the construction of subgrade, pavement etc. Then we introduce relevant concepts as well as the logic relation among them of quality management, based on which we specify the content and requirement of municipal road project's quality management, analyze its characteristics and difficulties and introduce the principals and fundamentals including PDCA cycle, three-phase control and total quality management. Base on the introduced fundamentals, we introduce the process and methods of municipal road project's quality management, including the concept of quality planning and the establishment of quality management system, and specially a comprehensive introduction of quality control in project survey and design, construction and delivery phase and conclusion of some important points during quality management process and introduction of dealing with quality problems. Finally, we present a specific case to put the theory into practice.This paper provides a comprehensive study on the quality management of the municipal road project. It not only enriches the theory study of quality management in construction projects but also can guide practical municipal road project to improve the level of quality management.
