The structure is that control unit is the core and many expansion modules are connected as a distributed communication network.Investigate the application of the vehicle brake test system, data collection, data transmission and data processing comes true. Brake test solution base on CAN improve the efficiency of automotive testing,reduce the cost and meet the improving requirement of test. Below is the research area of this article:Analyze the CAN bus technology, introduce the development status of CAN bus.Design the operation of data collection and data storage in software, signal definition and configuration in control unit, display unit setup, data decode and storage format.Design the hardware structure, explain the characteristics, operating principles and implementation methods of the control unit which is the core of system and temperature module, analog module, speed module which are extending module. Finally, analyze the characteristic and the disadvantage of the test system. Analyze the future trend of the brake test system.
