This thesis based on high-voltage generator excitation control system, which is the important part of the subject for a self-contained power system that the author has participatied in Independent operation not grid synchronous generator excitation and control system has been researched on the thesis.As standby power system's main generator, high-voltage generator assured the system can work properly. The researching high-voltage excitation and control system,due to the particularity of its voltage and frequency range is larger, in order to guarantee the generator bus voltages maintaining a certain level, through the automatic excitation adjuster synchronous adjust its excitation current and excitation voltage.In this thesis,high-voltage generator excitation control system has been researched by using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.In this paper, the working principle of power standby system has been analysised, fully understand the development level of synchronous generator excitation control mode and the control algorithm of domestic and international. According to the proposed high-voltage generator excitation and control system, their specific required excitation modes, excitation main circuit topology structure, control algorithm, etc, all have been analysised and determined. this paper expounds the working principle of the main circuit topology, and the main circuit of excitation power supply various parameters are calculated, including high frequency transformer design,which appears particularly important for the good work of the whole system. And excitation main circuit system has been researched by using Matlab, validation master circuit topology rationality and applicability.In the detailed design stage, first is hardware design, mainly is DSP2407 periphery connection circuit principle diagram design. In the software design of excitation power adopt the varying coefficient method, and the PID control with PID control comparative simulation shows more excellent control effect, Of excitation control system operating control to carry on the detailed design, gives the control procedures, At last, analyzed the existing in software design problems needing attention.
