Architecture bui lding construction is a n i mportant t echnology i n the professional class of basic courses, which is to study the composition of various components of the building. It is also an integrated curriculum which is a combination of the theory and method of constructing. H owever, t he t raditional t eaching doe s no t s eem t o be successful. Many architects do not understand the structure, resulting in the gap of the design and construction of the building. The domestic construction quality and the quality of the building are always at a disadvantage.There are many drawbacks in the traditional construction teaching, such as design and construction a re out of t ouch, the c ontent of c onstruction i s ou tdate a nd is n ot complete and the teaching is so dull and so on. This paper made a comparison among the c onstruction, built and tectonics, and pr oposed t he ne w c oncept na med "construction craft" and will explore the new construction teaching mode from this new perspective.Meanwhile, the paper discusses examples of Building Construction teaching mode in the Tsinghua University. Professor Yong Jiang in Tsinghua University proposed building construction teaching ideas and wrote a brand new building construction book. This paper studies the teaching practice of building construction in Tsinghua University from the course, teaching objectives and teaching scope.
