Recently asphalt pavement built before ten years has been gradually entering into the maintenance period. If a lot of asphalt mixture produced in the maintenance process was not used and randomly abandoned, on the one hand, heavy environmental pollution would appear around the road, on the other hand, this is a huge waste of the asphalt as a non-renewable resources, and quarries and mining of new stone will lead to serious ecological destruction such as forest vegetation reduction and soil erosion. According to design life of the asphalt (15-20 years), from now on, 12 percent of the asphalt pavements need revision every year, old asphalt waste will reach 50 million cubic meters every year. If they can be used, tens of billions yuan of engineering materials can be saved, which is increasing by 5 percent a year. After ten years, the old asphalt mixture annually by recycling will reach about a hundred million cubic meters; 40 billions yuan can be saved. In consideration of the conditions of main highways in Chengde city and practical situation of asphalt pavement regeneration technology, asphalt pavement in situ cold regeneration is suitable for road maintenance of Chengde city. This paper mainly further promotion of research and analysis, accumulate experience, cultivate reserve talented person based on the construction practice of asphalt pavement on-site cool regenerated technology.
