With the development of electronic technology, the electronic degree of modern automobile gradually improve, the car of the fuel injection system has from the original carburetor upgrade to the electronic control fuel injection system. The electronic control fuel injection system control the amount of oil spray nozzle strictly based on the subsystem of the car throttle, to ensure the fuel can fully burning, in order to not only save the energy but also reduce the emissions of poisonous gas content.The electronic control fuel injection system have an important sensor namely throttle position sensor, It is installed on the throttle, It change the information of throttle opening size into voltage signal, and then send the voltage signal into to the electronic control unit, by the analysis of the voltage signal, ECU get the information of throttle valve size and throttle valve rate. Through the information, ECU Judge the current work conditions of the engine, to determine the best injection time and ignition timing. so set up a set of reliable test equipment system can improve the qualified rate of the throttle position sensor, and has the vital significance to the safe operation of the car.This subject develops throttle position sensor testing system,which test the output voltage of throttle position sensor automatically. This testing system has many merits, such as to choose the Stepper motor as a servo system; to store the testing results and do SPC statistic on it; Shows the test waveforms with playback; to work well in industry environment with high compatibility of electromagnetic interference.This testing system should be with high quality and reliability. Control core uses embedded PC104 modules, control core uses embedded PC104 modules, data acquisition module is selected based on PC104 bus data acquisition board, sensor servo system using stepper motor, measuring the angle of rotation of the stepper motor is incremental encoder spot.The PC software of the testing system is LabVIEW, the main functions of the program is Drive PC104 data acquisition card; output the step motor enable, direction signal, control pulse signal. Compare sensor voltage data with standard data to decide whether it is qualified, and map Angle-voltage waveform, when the program complete data analysis and data processing, save the data in order to print or waveform playback.In this subject, the throttle position sensor testing system has been designed and debugged successfully. The experiment shows that it work well in the laboratory environment with the ability to test the TPS output voltage and the stepper motor rotation rliably.The testing results prove the system's high precision which is necessary.
