The micro-vibration is a key factor which will affects the key performance of high performance spacecraft, such as the pointing precision and imaging quality. The flexible structure orientation drive system is one of the essential disturbance sources of micro-vibration in the spacecraft. The study on this subject is not only the significant step in the system level spacecraft micro-vibration integrated modeling and imaging quality assessment, but also evidently impacts the validity of micro-vibration control system. A certain high performance remote sensing satellite includes two kinds of orientation drive systems, which are solar array orientation drive system and data transfer antenna orientation drive system. The studies of modeling, analysis and vibration suppression about micro-vibration aroused by these orientation drive systems are done in this paper. The major research works are following:The solar array orientation drive system is modeled with Kinematics-Elasticity Dynamics(KED) method. Base on this model, the structure dynamic characteristic and the dynamic transient response are analyzed. In addition, dynamic response's influence disciplines of average drive angular speed, manufactured mass eccentricity and link stiffness between basic plates are also researched.The data transfer antenna orientation drive system is modeled with Hybrid Coordinate Dynamic(HCD) method. Moreover, the part level and system level structure dynamic characteristic as well as the dynamic transient response in classical cases are analyzed. Also, dynamic response's influence disciplines of average drive angular speed and initial drive angular displacement in each axis are researched.The disturbance force, aroused by orientation drive systems, and its disturbance characteristics to the main body of the satellite are acquired by the above analysis. Base on this, the applicability of different kinds of vibration control strategies in micro-vibration suppression is discussed. Furthermore, the micro-vibration suppression project research and the parameter optimal selection research on solar array orientation drive system with passive disperse damp method are finished. The results show that the micro-vibration suppression plans in this paper are able to depress the high-frequency components of the disturbance force aroused by the orientation drive system to a certain extent.
