The high voltage power grid change rapidly,but with the development of transmission and transformer lines and the grid capacity expanding,most of the substations which were builded in the second half of the twentieth Century could not meet the demand of the grid.These substations are very important in the high voltage power grid,on the other hand,these substation is located in downtown lots,land resources increasingly scarced.So it is impossible to rebuild the substation in the new place and refom all the transformer lines. From the statistical data,small-scale equipment renovation project significant increase in these substaitons,but it can not solve the problems we have met in the substations,such as insufficient of the grid capacity ,the spare transformer lines and the aging equipment.So large numbers of large-scale reformation of the substations emerge.If we want to improve the reliability and security of the power grid,we must ensure Safety and successful of large-scale renovation project when the substations are in use. Because there exist differences between each substations,so each reformation of substations have their own characteristics.Through the study of the reformation project of Jinan power grid and date summary,put forward ues the land which is in the original space or to buy small-scale land,use the indoor GIS devices,combine the general design of the power grid,change the main electrical connection(Temporary power supply or transformer lines directly connect with the transformer ),complete the reformation of the substations gradually.Thus provided Systematic technical guidance for improving the capacity and the reliability of the device , increasing the spare transformer lines,removing the high-type aging device.
