| Cyclotron is a basic tool for nuclear physics and particle physics research. It plays an important part in military, PET diagnosis, proton treatment, industry irradiation, isotopic production and so on. The vacuum system is an important part of cyclotron. It provides the space in which particles run. The pressure of vacuum system directly affects the character of beam.The aim of this paper is to design a high vacuum system based on the need of CYCHU-10 vacuum system. In the paper, the content relates to basic vacuum theory,vacuum preliminary,calculation,the characteristic and parameter of vacuum equipment,the choice of the equipments. The paper introduces two vacuum measure equipments including Pirani gauge and Penning gauge. What's more, The paper introduce their principle and ranges. The diffusion pump and the rotary pump are introduced as vacuum achievement device. According to theory analysis, I choose the scheme that the diffusion pump acts in concert with the rotary pump. The high vacuum system can meet the need of the project and is applicative.Author applies LabVIEW to simulate the operation of the vacuum system. At the same time, the entire programme is provided. information transfer can achieve between PC and devices because LabVIEW follows many kinds of communication protocol. It contributes to achieve automatic control of the vacuum system in the future. |
