Sites Museums Architecutre Study

In the recent years, archaeological excavation and site protection at home has made new progress, a number of historical sites have established museums, galleries, or protected areas, at the same time has been carried out the declaration of the cultural heritage . This shows that people pay more attention to the important value of the historical sites , and makes people study and develop the value of the site continuously. Museum is the most common measure of the site protection, and is the best combination of cultural, social and economic value.But the site museum is different from the general museum In terms of the architectural design. The sites which are in different times,of different types and under different circumstances have different characteristics, therefore, the approachs of its protection and use are different. Thus, we see different museums which have different patterns and different functions . The rapid development of the site museum makes us need to review and summarize the new features, the new common and the new trends continuely in the location and planning of the site museum and architectural design.This paper shows the theoretical knowledge and basic design method the site museum from the comprehensive perspective the museum, sites, architecture design and exhibition design. It has five parts:The first part eloborates the related knowledge of the museums and sites , and focuses on and analyzes the basic principles of modern site protection and conservation methods.The second part is the overall design of the museum site, which introduces the sites features, the common layout form, the basic composed functions and the composed relations of the museum site.The third part mainly analyzes the spacial design of the site museum, including exterior and interior design from the spacial composed contents to spacial handling methods, and to the relationship of space and the vision and psychology , that is the core part of the museum site and the carrier of the site protection and use.The fourth part is the form handling of the site museum, and it analyzes its factors and style features respectively , such as the characteristic itself, the local culture and scientific and technological means.The fifth part is the technical requirements of the site museum , which introduces the relationship of the physical environment and architecture design from structure selection and physical environmental factors.Site museum design is being in a developing phase, involving a very broad scope of our research and design .This paper is based on the research examples of the site museum , and summarizes some basic theory and methods, in the hope of helping with the future museum site design and the site protection and exploitation...
