High-power electromagnetic pulse weapons have a wide field of military application due to its destruction to the electrical equipment on consideration of its ability of high power and wide spectrum. Radio frequency magnetic flux compression generator (RF FCG) has a advantage of small size,low cost,narrow spectrum,high power etc. Radiation device in the RF FCG radiate high power electromagnetic pulse in an ultra short time through the high frequency oscillatory current in loop circuit of the generator based on the conventional FCG with a small capacitive load.This thesis start from the principle of FCG and then the influence of parameter of generator on compression coefficient of inductance,magnetic flux coefficient,current magnification and power magnification is reviewed in the analysis of FCG with equivalent circuit theory. The change of the current and energy in the generator is simulated with numerical method.In the next section, the spiral coil is equivalent to single-turn coil connected in series through reasonable simplification. We build calculative model based on it with modification to the relative formulation. The calculative model of ohmic resistance and non-ohmic equivalent resistance is given through the analysis of magnetic flux loss.Following the previous discussion, the research on the equivalent formulation of FCG is lead. And we indicate the most practical transformation of inductance through analysis of different transformation of inductance,current and power spectrum. The method of increasing the frequency of oscillatory current is available based on the previous discussion.At last the design principle of FCG is discussed with focus on the selection of feeding method. The change of current in the generator is simulated through the combination of mathematical fitting of dynamic inductance,dynamic resistance and equivalent formulation. We also validate the dynamic inductance and dynamic resistance model.
