Research On Plant Landscape Of The Soul Valley Temple Scenic Area

Memorial landscape is the carrier of history and culture of a city, it plays a prominent role in the urban landscape. The landscape quality directly affectes the image level of a city and quality of life in urban areas. Taking typical memorial landscape Nanjing Soul Valley Temple scenic area as the research object, using qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate and study its plant landscape deeply. Specific research conclutions are as follows:(1) Through referring materials, finding out the plant landscape history of Soul Valley Temple scenic spot,and through investigation and qualitative analysis summarizing the plant landscape status of Soul Valley Temple scenic spot as:the subjecect of memorial landscape is obvious; Osmanthus is the landscape feature; intrest of wildness, obvious seasonal characteristics;(2) Choosing 40 typical plant communities to do the survey. This paper analyzed the composition of communities, the number of characteristics, species, diversity of 40 typical plant communities on the theory of Plant Community. The main conclutions are as follows:rich plant species, overall evergreen composition on the high side, low plant community diversity, the overall landscape coordination is better;(3) From the four aspects of aesthetic quality, ecological efficiency, service function and maintenance management situation, establish plant landscape comprehensive evaluation system. Using AHP to evaluate the qualitative and quantitative analysis of scenic plant community, then classify them according to the comprehensive evaluation score of plant communities hierarchies; The conclutions was that plant communities of the Soul Valley Temple scenic area in high grades, mostly in GradeⅠor GradeⅡ;(4) Through on-the-spot investigation, sort out mainly 19 Osmanthus varieties, and then use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to them, and pick out 6 superior varieties with screening superior traits for reference,and Osmanthus fragrans application status of scenic spot were analyzed, and suggestions on how to optimize were put forward;(5) Based on combining these four conclusions above, some optimization proposals and specific optimization measures were fingured out as follows:popularizing the aplication of groundcover plants; increasing shrubs species;improving plant configuration; strengthening the maintenance management and protecting ancient and famous trees.
