Therefore, the risk assessment of transporting dangerous goods and the Construction of Transportation security system can effectively reduce the incidence of accidents and casualties as well as property losses. It has a great significance of safeguarding social stability.This paper analyzes the current situation and development trend of risk assessment of dangerous goods transportation home and abroad. The concept of dangerous goods and transport-related safety requirements are introduced. According to the characteristics of this kind of accidents, a neural network time series prediction model is built based on time series and neural network technology. The paper analyzed the causes of the accidents of dangerous goods transportation on the mountain freeway. Based on the road factors, this paper put forward the special sections of the road, just like the curve section, the sloping section, the bridge section and the tunnel section, as the risk assessment factors of dangerous goods transportation and evaluates the risk of the dangerous goods transportation. Then, based on Mathematical probability theory, the model of risk assessment of dangerous goods transportation is built. A freeway in Chongqing was used as an example to illustrate the evaluation method and the evaluation index.Though the analysis to the accident of transport of dangerous goods in the mountain freeway , according to the actual conditions of the freeway travel safety of mountain area of our country, considering the impact on traffic safety, the paper build a freeway safety ensuring system involving the driving environmental system, vehicle monitoring system, safety emergency rescue system and security information system. The program has laid a theoretical foundation for constructing the theoretical system. It also provides an effective basis for decision making for decision-makers.
