With the social economic development, acceleration of urbanization, the world'scountries are facing demographic, economic, between the cities problems.In order tomeet the needs of social development, urban historic districts, cultural heritage is alsoexperiencing unprecedented changes. A variety of important architectural, artistic, orcultural value of the historic district have been used to demolish and reconstruct.Urbanfabric of historic district , traditional culture and local culture are disappearing.The Landscape of a historical cultural street is an important part of historic districtsand the essential development of the overall landscape of the city environment . In itsdevelopment process, it is the record of the evolution of urban development and is aaccumulated history ,which contains the development of a city's history and culture .Therefore, the protection of historical and cultural streets is not only to save theprecious historical relics, more importantly, to protect the carrying characteristics andinformation of the history and culture, local culture.Since the establishment , Qingdao had been subject to the colonial rule of German,Japanese .The form of urban planning and architectural aspects have a unique colonialtraces, in particular, the Liyuan building which formed in the early last centurycombined the Chinese and Western architectural culture.
