The mechanism of vessel-bridge collision with the bridge and pier protection device anti-collision performance is in the initial stage, Pilot study certainly can get accurate results, it is difficult to put into costly, and in which uncertainties are many.in this case, it is more and more payed attention to in simulation the collision process. Have a useful discussion to the mechanism of vessel-bridge collision and pier protection facilities by finite element software Ls-dyna. Listed and explained the basic theory of mechanics and simplified formula of collision impact force, have analysis and discussion to the key technologies involved in the simulation process,as a practical engineering background and comprehensive calculation and analysis the core issue of vessel–bridge collision, be a useful reference data ,provides support for the bridge design. Final design of a new type of crash protection facilities, and simulation analysis its effectiveness and practicality.In this paper, the following work had done:Described and analyzed the key technologies in numerical simulation, Summarized a set of complete parameter settings, the key applications and core technologies of computing control processes.Analyzed and discussed the selection of the pile simulation in beam or solid element, and know the accuracy and stability when use the solid element in simulstion the pile, while beam element as a simple and fast way to have their extensive application.Focuse on three different computational model and its application,through the finite element software simulation the rigid wall model, single pier model and full-bridge model, choose the full-bridge model to be the calculation model, Based on this calculate and analysis the impact force and dynamic response under different conditions and get good result in use H-J-C material.Designed a new type of crash protection system: steel box + foam floating protection device.
