In the past two years, with national grid company and provincial grid company increasing electrical energy measurement devices, the electrical energy measurement devices being standardized, new technologies and equipment increasing, promoting the implementation of all kinds of electrical energy measurement devices to specific projects, the new direction of the relevant technology power meter intellectualized standards are enacted, and intellectualized power meter scheme has been designed and being planned.Therefore, the scientific, reasonable and accurate evaluation of electricity measurement devices reconstruction projectscould not only improve electrical energy measurement project management level and the overall efficiency, but also help to improve investment, construction and reform of the projects. It can also accumulate experience to provide referencial information to decision-making, especially when the current international economic crisis is increasingly so as to stimulate domestic demand within the context of reform, and beneficial to the power companies and pressing need for further implement and promotion of intelligent power devices.At present, electrical energy measurement devices post project evaluation is at the beginning stage, the post assessment system also needs to be further improved and strengthened. This paper studies the post assessment method, after a more systematic analysis of electrical energy measurement devices, we establish a proper evaluation system of the post evaluation of power energy metering device reconstruction projects, and an evaluation model too, and proved its apllicabilitywith an example. Through the case study, we find the system of indicators and model of evaluation both conform to reality. The model can more clearly and explicitly determine which items do better or worse and to what extent it is better or worse, which help to facilitate more objective scientific decision-making.
