The Traffic Pattern Study Based On The City's Old District

As the history carrier of the city, the old district records the historical evolution in the city, which is the basis of the development and propagation. The city's old district which is the center of the livelihood, leisure, business and office attract the amount of crowds and traffic. And it also is the most chaos and crowded area, what the traffic problem embody the kinds of contradictions in the process of urbanization, modernization and motorization. Thus, in the process of the old district renewal, the traffic system also needs to be updated accordingly, which is the new requirement for that. However, the traffic system in the old district is restricting to the series of the factors in the process of the development. How to coordinate the contradiction between them and making the traffic system serve for the renewal and guiding better the old district become the urgent problem need to be solved.Looking back at the previous study, though there gain big improvement in the city's old district renewal theory home and abroad, the traffic system related is slack of the deeply research, which is the weak links in the study of the city's old district renewal theory. Via the process of the city's old district renewal, the infrastructure renewal (transportation) always lags behind the urban land renewal. So the author think it as the breakthrough point, on the basis of the related research home and abroad, to analyze the old district and transportation feature, summarize the transportation problem faced——the unreasonable of the old district traffic patterns cause the traffic unbalance between supply and demand, aiming at this as the root to analysis the influence factors in the traffic patterns of old district, put forward the construction strategy of the traffic patterns in the renewal, at last, to analysis all in the case of the DeYang city's old district.First of all, the thesis analyze the basic characteristics in the city's old district; in the basis of the researching the DeYang resident trip, it deeply deconstructs the city's old district's traffic feature and find the difference between them; then summarize the transportation problem and sticking point.Secondly, the thesis elaborates the ways of city's old district renewal and three typical traffic patterns; then analyze affected factor of traffic pattern in our city, to guide the city's old district renewal to make the related requirement for the traffic pattern. According to the renewal ways, it puts forward to protect, renovation and reforming the city's old district, for guidance of city traffic patterns construct update ideas:that is protection restrictions, moderate development, coordinate reconstructions, and combined with the specific examples to analyze and discuss the construction target, principle and countermeasures respectively, and put forwards the specific measures such as land use, road network, slow traffic, public transportation and static traffic and so on.At last, taking the temple of commercial area, the east area of the river and the Second Heavy Machinery Industry in DeYang as the example to research and explore applicably.The innovative points of this paper are listed as follows:(1)It elaborates the underlying cause of traffic problem in the updating process of the city's old district and approach the relativity between the old district's renew and the traffic pattern.(2)Using the renew mode as the guide strategy, it proposes the three traffic pattern which are adjusted the different feature of the old district and benefit the continuous renewing and developing area, that is the protection restrictions mode, moderate development mode and coordinate reconstruction mode.
