Research On The Constructive Design Of Architectural Forms

The design of Architectural Forms is more important standard which is used to measure the architect level, and it is the key process of architectural creation, the reason is that it has no "formula" and "rule", and it is difficult for architect to put their thought and creation in architecture into practice. With the continuous development of the modernist architecture, the traditional construction theory is applied to guide artistic design in the field once again. To study the Architectural Forms with the constructive view is one of the effective ways to solve the form problems in architectural creation yield.The Constructive Design of Architectural Forms is focused on shape, it take the people visual perception as beginning and start form the basic elements of the constructive theory, in addition, it combine with the carrier elements of the constructive theory and apply some various constructive skills, finally the architect will achieve the ordered and logical Architectural Forms by this way. The article apply the building morphology, the modern constructive theory, the visual psychology and others related concepts and theories and select some typical architectural examples, it also conclude and sum up the tradition constructive theory and class this theory with its character and shape. The article expresses the research on the Constructive Design of Architectural Forms by this concise and intuitional way. The author attempt to research the method and formula of Architectural Forms design by the constructive way, perhaps the research can create benefit for the architects'practices.This article is divided into six parts, the first is a summary, it mainly introduces the background, the current state, the significance and the purpose of the research. The second part was the definition and the conception of the constructive theory that include the history of the modern architectural, the building morphology, the modern constructive theory and so on, it also include the relations for each others. Third, four or five parts are this paper emphases, it respectively explain that how to apply on the design of three architectural design elements:the Architectural Plane, the Architectural Forms and the Architectural Interface with the theory of the Constructive Design. The three parts analyze and summarize the actual application method in the architectural design with lots of concrete building example and the shape characteristics and personalities of the traditional constructive skills. The sixth part is the generating mechanism and the example analysis of the Constructive Design of Architectural Forms. From the architectural design four factors:environment, function, technology and form, we have discussed above that a complete excellent architectural design scheme is subjective and objective conditions coordination and mutual restrict results. Moreover the author takes the museum design scheme as the practice analytical material of the Constructive Design of Architectural Forms. Epilogue part is the summary of the whole article; it also briefly introduces the experience and opinion of the author in the research process.
