The Research On Climatic Adaptation Of Traditional Houses Of Architectural Forms In North-central Region Of Hunan Province

The relationship between climate and construction has been closely linked withthe survival of mankind. In particular, with the theory of sustainable development,human beings come to realize the climate factors to consider in building design, notjust satisfy human needs of a comfortable, healthy living environment, but also inorder to co-ordination between human beings and the environment the sustainabledevelopment needs, but also to maintain the needs of the local geographicalcivilization. Visible, the development of the building is a symbol of civilization, a lotof historical experiences and lessons that urban and rural areas should be the path ofsustainable development. In this paper, to fully learn and absorb the traditional housesof North-central region of Hunan province climate make the best use of passivemeasures, summarize North-central region of Hunan province traditional houses builtform design come to adapt to climate policy, and hope to provide a reference value forChina’s urban construction.The first chapter, an overview of the research background, purpose, significance,methodology and research framework. First described in the second chapter ofbuilding climatology overview of the theory, including the establishment of buildingclimatology, development and construction climate design principles; then explain theimpact of climate on architectural form; and a brief analysis of the underlying reasonsof architectural forms adapt to climate; select some relevant examples to furtheranalysis of the architectural forms of climate adaptation, chapters I and II laid thetheoretical foundation for the next study.Chapter III The first is the geographical overview of the traditional houses of theNorth-Central Region of Hunan, climatic conditions, such as a brief introduction; thenbased on the data of the field survey of the traditional houses of North-central regionof Hunan province, an overview of the status quo of the traditional houses ofNorth-central region of Hunan province, the final key to explain the basic features ofthe architectural forms of traditional houses of North-central region of Hunanprovince; fourth chapter focuses on analysis of climate adaptation of the traditionalform of residential buildings in North-central region of Hunan province. Maindeparture from the Xiang River in the northern climate characteristics, respectively,from the building site selection and planning of the overall layout, graphic and structural forms, as well as the architectural details of materials and structural formsof a few generous face of the architectural forms of the traditional houses ofNorth-central region of Hunan province focus analysis, which is the core chapters ofthis paper.Chapter from natural ventilation, natural lighting, shading, thermal insulation ofthe four aspects summed up the North-cenral region of Hunan province TraditionalHouses in the design of strategies to address climate, this is also an important sectionof this article.To sum up, through extensive research on the theoretical analysis and thetraditional houses of North-central region of Hunan province, summed up the basicfeatures of the architectural forms of traditional houses of the North-cenral region ofHunan province, and from this point of view of the climate to their adaptability tochange, hoping to come up with some of the traditional houses of the North-centralregion of Hunan province architectural forms adapt to climate strategy for the XiangRiver in the northern towns residential construction available basis, but also to speedup the construction of the two types of society.
