Urban Design Program Discussion Of The New Urban Areas Basing On Landscape Urbanism

With China's sustained economic growth, urbanization accelerating, the rapid expansion of city scale, construction of new urban areas in large numbers, types of plans are began in earnest in major cities also. Urban design as a new design disciplines, although start later in China, but the role in the urban development and construction has been recognized gradually,it is being an important urban planning study of the planning type.However, due to late start of the urban design,the urban design theory are mostly borrowed from the Western theory .The "building urbanism" design theory is the main components of the theoretical system. With the continuous exposure of urban problems, the continued deterioration of the ecological living environment, people gradually realize the flaws and shortcomings in the theories of urban design. "Sustainable development" is the theme of the 21st century, today's urban development and construction are badly in need of a theory appears which is more scientific and reasonable, more ecologically sustainable, more concerned about the city - people - nature in harmony with ."Landscape Urbanism" is presented, to be recognized and used as a new design theory against this historical background. China is building large-scale expansion of new urban areas,which is the background of the phenomenon of this paper studied.Through the analysis of the problems and shortcomings caused by traditional urban theory,which is used to guidance the urban construction. Trying to make the new theory "landscape urbanism" combined with urban design, to explore a more scientific and systematic method to guide the urban design of new town construction. And taking the urban design of Shuanggui Lake Liangping,Chongqing for example.through the summarizes and analysis of the key points in urban design, to discusse and summarize a new strategy of urban design of new urban areas,basing on the theory of landscape urbanism.This paper follows the line of thinking of "proposed research - comb and analysis of the existing urban design theory - the introduction of a new theory - seeking the new points of integration between the theory and urban design - theoretical system and work processes construction - combined with the actual to case illustrates " . The main contents include the following four key components: First, Parse the existing theories: Through the discrimination of the concept of urban design and theories, specifically the nature and role of urban design, clear the advantages and disadvantages of the existing theories of urban design, while seeking the correlation and breakthroughs between the various theories.Second, the introduction of a new theory: Through the presentation of the concept and content of landscape urbanism, clear the possibilities of its use of urban design.Third, Summarize key points: By studying the intrinsic relationship between the landscape urbanism and urban design and its existing theories, summarized the urban design methods and points based on the landscape urbanism.Fourth, construction of the theoretical system: through the use of "system decomposition and superposition ", establish a core work processes and frameworks of urban design based on landscape urbanism, namely "Analysis - Construction - overlay - build".
