| Pallet pool is a communication way of cyclic utilization, which is offered to those enterprises which needs them by pallet leasing company or other enterprises owned pallets. In order to respond positively to support qualified enterprises to establish pallet pool system by"Logistics Restructuring and Revitalization Plan"and the requirements of promoting the development of pallet pool transport by"China Railway "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" Program", this article focuses on research of railway pallet pool from four aspects.Firstly, to combine with the styles of the railway freight and the characteristic of the transportation, this article firstly came up with the appropriate types of goods, pallet materials and standards. Meanwhile, has designed the mode of containing and loading. Simultaneously, according to the data of National Bureau of Statistics Yearbook, this article summed up the total and turnover demand of railway transportation of the past 10 years, and predicted the future demand by establishing simple linear equation, to ensure this business to remain massive development potential and academic practicalness.Secondly, to combine with the mainstream of the pallet operational model in the world, this article has firstly come up with the ideal of establishing the department of pallet transportation and management. At the same time, to urge the construction of railway common business with pallet leasing companies. Simultaneously, in order to satisfy the needs of business development of different period of time, this article has put forward new operation modes, leasing plans and work flows.Thirdly, this article has analyzed the railway performance by effective backscattering, break even analysis and economic efficiency of enterprises. Simultaneously, in order to develop the business successfully, this article researched on management strategy, the terminal system construction and the promoting ways and ect.Finally, the article has put forward some improvements through case studies. |
