With the wide use of power electronic devices, power quality is becoming serious more and more. However, me requirements of power quality of sensitive load are getting higher and higher. Power quality has become an issue to the power utilities and customers. Developing of power quality analyzer with excellent performance has great significance. This thesis is concerned about the design of a noval power quality analyzer based on floating point DSP. The main work and achievements are as follows:Firstly, the relevant theory of power quality monitoring is discussed and analyzed. The theory of harmonic analysis and voltage flicker is expatiated in detail. The frequency spectrum aliasing problem and leakage problem about DFT are analyzed, and the solutions are proposed. The IEC flicker measurement principle is selected based on the comparison of several flicker measurement principles. Secondly, the hardware of power quality all analyzer is designed. DSP TMS320C5402, CPLD XC95144 and 16-bit high-precision ADC are chosen as the process core, and the active anti-aliasing filters is chosen as the forward signal channels. The analyzer is equipped with a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, UART and USB2.0. Because of the shortcomings of conventional electromagnetic transformers, the signal conversion module accepts the Hall sensors.At last, the function and performance of the power quality is verified to comp-liant with the requirement of national standards.
