Based on the main function of the flap-door Gate, the structure of its control system can be obtained. And the property index of the control system is given. According to the way of pass, the flap-door Gate can divide into two-way pass, one-way pull in and one-way pull out. The typical structure of the control system is described. Structural parameters of the gate path are fixed.To apply gait recognition in Passenger Identification System (PIS), a new method which uses image process to extract the feature of human gait from the video which records a human in walking in special scene is given. Based on the feature of human gait, a wide view of human gait is given. And the feature is applied in the research of the assignment of the sensors of PIS. It prepares the ground for PI algorithm.PIS is a kind of Mealy Finite State Machine. The signal of the sensors which is its input calculates with the state of the Finite State Machine to get the output. The central process unit judges the pass legitimacy of the passengers in accordance with the output. Experimental results indicate that the recognizable rate of PIS is high and its performance is stable.The main task of the control software is analyzed. The Operation Mode and the Working Processing of the flap-door Gate are given. The control system runs 11 threads to manager the subsystems. And the method of thread synchronization is given. Then the process of how to judge the legitimacy of the passengers is clarified. The method of how to save the date into the database is followed. At last, the asynchronous communication between Gate and Station Computer System is introduced.
