Trajectory correction is brought up as needed of striking accuracy improving of the conventional ammunition such as rocket and mortar projectile. Execution system of trajectory correction projectile, as one of the key technologies of the trajectory correction, has become a hot spot of this area. In this paper, a electromagnetic driving actuator system of trajectory correction projectile is analyzed, designed, produced and verified based on two-dimension trajectory correction. The works mainly includes the following:Firstly, all types of two-dimension trajectory correction execution mechanisms and the operational principle and characteristics of the actuator systems are analyzed according to the application background of Trajectory correction projectile. Two schemes of electromagnetic driving actuator are designed:three-position electromagnetic actuator and the telescopic electromagnetic actuator. Physical prototypes are produced.Secondly, dynamics simulation on telescopic electromagnetic actuator is conducted via virtual prototype simulation analysis software ADAMS. Response speed of actuator system is tested, and the feasibility of actuator mechanism is verified.Thirdly, aerodynamics simulation on a rocket projectile with telescopic electromagnetic actuator is conducted via aerodynamics simulation analysis software FLUENT. Aerodynamic variation in different attack angles and fluid speeds is analyzed both when the vanes are retracted and reaching out completely.Fourthly, the control system of telescopic electromagnetic actuator is designed, hardware-software debugging of the control system is conducted via visible virtual simulation software Proteus and program software Keil. Feasibility and reliability of the program and circuit are verified.Finally, electromagnetic screening and wind tunnel experiments are conducted on the physical prototypes of telescopic electromagnetic actuator.The results of simulations and experiments show that the telescopic electromagnetic actuator has the advantages of low price, simple construction, easy controlled, fast response, stable performance and so on. Research deeply on this helps to improve the strike accuracy of conventional ammunition, and means a lot on national defense strengthening of our country.
