Polymer flooding is an significant tertiary oil recovery technology. Most main oil filedhave already entered the development period of the high water cut. With the increasingdifficulty of keeping stable production, polymer flooding was carried out for industrial fieldtest, which has obtained good results. Due to various influences of geological conditions anddevelopment factors, distribution of remaining oil is increasingly complex and diversified. Therefore, take full consideration of all kinds of geological developing factors, summarizedthe distribution characteristics of remaining oil after polymer flooding, and targeted thepotential exploitation measures will make great significance of development remaining oil. Inorder to make rational and effective utilization of polymer solution, and further enhanced oilrecovery, polymer flooding parameters needed optimizing and measures for increaseproduction are need to be studied. In this paper, geological models were established, combining with field data, productionhistory are matched on. Distribution rule of remaining oil of Wellblock L1on plane andlongitudinal is researched. Effect evaluation of development effect and reservoir recovery ofpolymer flooding was made by water drive curve. Give the best inject rate range, also thepolymer concentration and cyclic water flooding on recovery efficiency were studied.
