With development of technology, Photochromic is more and more important not only in the optical switch, optical information storage, and Photosensitive material,but also in the Military camouflage and Building Materials. Synthesis of a variety of photochromic compounds has made important progress.Because of its photochromic reversibility, strong fatigue resistance, high resolution, large storage capacity and rapid reactive speed, it catches scientist attention. Nowadays, researching optical information storage is hotter and hotter.In this paper three dolinspiropyran monomers were synthesized with small molecules. They are 3,3-dimethyl-N-dimethy-5-chloro-6-chloro-indolinospiropyran, 3,3-dimethyl-N-dimethyl-5-chloro-6-chloro-8-nitro-indolinospiropyran,and3,3-dimethyl-N-ethyl-5-chloro-6-chloro-indolinospiropyran. They are synthesized firstly. The structur-es of titled compounds and some intermediates obtained were identified by elemental analysis, IR and1HNMR.And their photochromic properties were studied by Uv-Vis absorbance spectra. Synthesis process on the reaction conditions were optimized to determine the optimum reaction conditions of the three compounds. And researching the photochromic spiropyran dynamics and fatigue resistance.Application of UV-visible absorption spectra of three compounds in different color effects in polar solvents, while different concentrations of the color properties of the solution, change color under different irradiation time performance, the different changes in absorbance after bleaching, color duplication of testing. The three compounds are dissolved in the same solvent, irradiation by UV light absorbance of the size of the test to determine the Substituents on the performance of photochromic.
