This paper studied the blending properties of NBR with elastomer of vinyl such as EVM and CM, several elastomer of vinyl were blended with NBR to modify the performance defect of NBR, we studied mainly the effect of blending ratio of NBR with elastomer of vinyl on performance of blends,and the effect of ZDMA on performance of blends was also studied. In order to obtain NBR formula with excellent comprehensive performance such as low temperature,high temperature,resistance to oil and ethanol fuel。The results showed that : the blends of NBR with Levapren 400 can significantly improve low temperature performance of NBR. With the increase of EVM content,the performance of vulcanizate such as tensile strength,elongation at break,compression set and resilience was improved; TG analysis showed that: the main-chain degradation temperature of NBR/EVM was significantly improved,that means EVM improved the thermal stability of NBR blends; The effect of ZDMA and DCP content on NBR/EVM properties was studied by regression analysis, when the comprehensive performance was excellent, the optimum dosage of ZDMA and DCP is respectively 27 phr and 3.5 phr.The blends of NBR with Levapren 700HV can significantly improve the high temperature and anti-aging properties of NBR. With the increase of EVM content,the performance of NBR/EVM vulcanizate such as tensile strength,compression set,elongation at break,100% modulus,hardness and tear strength were gradually increased; TG analysis shows that:the main-chain degradation temperature of NBR/EVM was significantly improved by 6.5℃,that means EVM improved the thermal stability of NBR blends; DMA analysis showed that the NBR has an excellent compatibility with EVM; the Tg temperature peak shifted to high temperature, low temperature performance declined compared with NBR; The effect of ZDMA and FEF content on NBR/EVM properties was studied by regression analysis, With the increase of FEF or ZDMA content,the performance of vulcanizate such as hardness,tensile strength,tear strength,100% modulus,resistance to heat aging and oil resistance was improved , the performance compression set and elongation at break declined.The blends of NBR with CM can significantly improve the performance of anti-aging and resistance to ethanol gasoline of NBR. Curing system of NBR/CM was studied,the comprehensive performance of NBR/CM cured by peroxide curing system was better than sulfur curing system. The vulcanizate cured by peroxide curing system was studied: TG analysis showed that the degradation temperature of NBR/CM decreased by 18.3℃, the resistance to high temperature of NBR/CM declined; DMA analysis shows that NBR / CM had an excellent compatibility, but the low temperature performance declined; The relationship between mechanical properties and reinforcing agent FEF and ZDMA amount of NBR/CM blends could be predicted by regression analysis,the established mathematical model can forecast the mechanical properties of vulcanizate reinforced by FEF and ZDMA,which is useful to to achieve formulation with high hardness, heat-resistance, aging-resistance and oil- resistance.
