Metal Electrochemical Wire-cutting technology is mainly used for workpiece cutting under the condition of different thickness plates, the essence of this technology is electrochemical machining.Because the machining gap between tool electrode and workpiece surface is affected by mang factors such as the electric field, the flow field and electrochemical factors. By controlling the cutting processing parameters, these factors will be changed to improve the cutting precision and surface quality. This method is the key of Metal Electrochemical Wire-cutting processing research.The mainly completed work of this paper is as follows:First,the metal cutting mechanism of Metal Electrochemical Wire-cutting technology was further complementary studied. The cutting quality indicators were proposed for the metal electrochemical cutting processing. Major influnce factors were summarized for this technology and improving methods were proposed .Secondly, the electrolyte supplying circuit of the existing Electrochemical Wire-cutting experimental device was improved for enhancing the cutting quality; Pulse power was applied to metal electrochemical cutting processing which provides a new direction for the Electrochemical Wire-cutting processing research; Complex electrolyte by proportion was used in the metal electrochemical cutting processing.Thirdly, the metal plates Electrochemical Wire-cutting processing research in the condition of DC monocomponent active electrolyte, DC complex electrolyte and pulse current monocomponent active electrolyte was carried out.The technological parameter's effect on slit width, slit wide fluctuations variance, current and current efficiency was summarized through the analysis of experimental data; The characteristics of plates cutting slit was completely and systematically researched which provides processing reference for the using of Electrochemical Wire-cutting; The basic processing of Electrochemical Wire-cutting which form in the condition of complex electrolyte and pluse power lay the first stone for applying complex electrolyte and pluse power to Electrochemical Wire-cutting processing.Last, the forming cutting characteristics of workpiece in the condition of different power types were researched and deliberated. The experiment result indicates that the workpieces which were cutted by using pluse power have better position and dimension accuracy than DC Electrochemical Wire-cutting. The relatively complete Electrochemical Wire-cutting processing of 45# steel materials in the condition of DC active electrolyte was obtained through the analysis of the experiments..
