As the core equipment of the steel-making plant in the iron and steel plant, the main body of converter is mainly consisted of furnace shell, care circle, trunnion bearings, tilting devices and other major components, generally settled in the cross-feed between the cross and the stove. Because the single pieces of equipment is huge form and weight, it is restricted in space and lifting equipment on installation, the construction for erection, maintenance and renovation work is more difficult. So to minimize the external conditions, efficient and orderly installed body equipment for saving engineering time, save construction costs, lower maintenance costs, is significant.In this paper, the Xin-Steel Group 210 tons of large-scale installation of the converter body equipment, introduced the assembly line outside the main construction and the overall installation process, from detection equipment installed base, trunnion bearing assembly, sliding beam design and other aspects of the detailed discussion and calculation, for in the past have not formed during the installation process of the system installed in pairs and cut to the key new technology in the application of engineering technology research, assembly-line converter for large-scale process design study of key technologies and implementation process of the system described, including three aspects: the assembly-line converter slip device technical research; three spherical support device installation key technologies; trunnion tangential keys installed in pairs of key technologies.
