Oil, as an extremely important non-renewable resources, its exploration is emphasized by people. The world maintains a huge demand for oil. In the case of limited oil resources, the research for oil recovery becomes extremely significant. Polymer flooding technology,as an effective oil recovery technology, is carried out in some of oil field and achieves good results.In this paper, through the study of Liaohe Oilfield polymer-inject station, The author develops an automated monitoring system. The system is used to improve the automation and safety level of the polymer-inject station and guarantee the process of the polymer-inject station'production.In this paper, the author introduces the theory, the role and significance of polymer flooding technology in oil exploration; analyzes the polymer-inject station process; designs the distributed control system; develops the control level and monitoring level control program; achieves automatic control of polymer injection pump, pump and valve-doped; completes the information gathering, monitoring, reporting, alarming and other functions.Monitoring System of the polymer-inject station begins to start production operation since May 2011.The operation of the Monitoring System is stable and sound, and the technical indicators of the Monitoring System reaches the design requirements. Monitoring System of the polymer-inject station improves security of the polymer-inject station, increases the level of automation of the polymer-inject station, achieves the centralized management of the polymer-inject station, conserves resources of the polymer-inject station, achieves the production and management needs of the polymer-inject station.
