Phosphorus is one of important elements in biological cytoplasm, is essential to plant growth as well. In the world,84~90% of the phosphate used in the production of phosphate fertilizer. Phosphate ore is an important chemical raw material used for making pure phosphate (yellow phosphorus, red phosphorus) and other chemical materials.Meanwhile the rare earth elements can be also extracted from the phosphate ore, monazite and xenotime are the important industrial rare earth minerals.China's phosphate resources are very abundant, phosphate ore reserves are ranked the second just less than those in Morocco in the world, is the world's main phosphate production and consumption country as well. With the disorder exploitation on phosphate ore resources, high-grade ore resources depleting, mining the high-grade ore and low-grade ore at the same time and utilization of tailings will be of great practical significance.In this thesis, research on phosphate tailings in yunnan province was conducted, comparing the process structure, aspects of the pharmaceutical system, the type and amount of experimental research, to make a reasonable process. The thesis provides a basis of developing and utilization of phosphate tailings resources in Yunnan Province to improve the comprehensive utilization of the resources.Fatty acids are usually used as collector in the flotation of phosphate ore, its role in mechanism of mineral surface studies have shown that fatty acids adsorption model in the surface of phosphate ore is mainly the chemical adsorption.In the weakly alkaline conditions, the collector mainly form of RCOO-and(RCOO) 22-in the pulp RCOO-and(RCOO) 22- are the most effective components in phosphate flotation Depressor of sodium silicate in the pulp primary form of H2SiO3and HSiO3-which preferentially adsorbed on the quartz surface, so that the increase of hydrophilic silica to be inhibited.It is showed that the ore belongs to metamorphic phosphate ore, from the research of process mineralogy,mainly valuable mineral is calcium - silicon fluorapatite. P2O5 content of 21.87%, SiO2 content of 10.17%. The dissemination size of apatite is coarse, primarily in a granular or irregular granular, particle size is generally 0.1mm, the largest one is up to 3mm or so. The main gangue minerals are quartz and dolomite, quartz grains, were dispersed or disseminated form filling, dolomite is light brown particulate, showing aggregate form. The ore also contains a small amount of limonite, hematite, calcite and other minerals.In order to improve the recovery of phosphate ore resources, comparative process experimental between gravity separation and flotation was carried out. Gravity separation experimental studies have shown that the single gravity separation by shaking table is not ideal. Combing Spiral chute and heavy medium technology (+1 mm section into the heavy,-1mm section into the spiral chute), bromoform as the heavy liquid,with a density of 2.9g/cm3,a concentrate with grade of 27.41%, yield of 52.26% and the recovery of 65.41% was obtained.From the flotation experimental studies, a high phosphate collector LC3 was found to be the best collector for the flotation, when the direct flotation using once roughing,once scavenging and twice choiceness process, the open process can gain the concentrate yield is 63.11%, concentrate grade is 31.12%, recovery rate is 89.89%; in small closed-circuit test process,the concentrate grade is 28.16%, recovery is 96.79%. studying of the scrub phosphate tailings to provide the theoretical basis for utilize of resources.
