In this paper, the HYPOL polypropylene equipment was taken as subject, polymerization section of the HYPOL technology was mainly studied, and ultimately, we finished its steady state simulation and dynamic simulation separately. The study firstly finished steady state simulation of the polymerization process, results showed fine. Then we established mechanism of propylene polymerization by use of "chain analysis method" creatively, which was based on kinetic parameters of steady state simulation, then we finished the dynamic stimulation of the propylene polymerization process with a super real time speed using DSO.Based on analyzing polymerization section of propylene, the steady state model of the polymerization process was established. In this simulation, components were confirmed, PC-SAFT was taken as main thermodynamic model; two liquid-phase reactors and one gas fluid bed reactor were completely defined perfect mixed reactors based on the reasonable assumption. In the whole process, polymerization reaction dynamic model was both key and difficult point; polymerization process of propylene was coordination polymerization, the mechanism was set up processed by "Generating Function Method", defined single site reaction kinetic parameters through debugging, steady state model of the whole polymerization section was finally established and analyzed simulation result.Both "Generating Function Method" and "Chain Analysis Method" based on mechanism model strictly, the computational process of the former method is very inconvenience, however, the computational process of the Chain Analysis Method, in which the reaction rate expression as same as the traditional reaction rate expression, is very simply. Therefore, polymerization process was described again by Chain Analysis Method in the study, which made computation applied to super real time dynamic simulation. Through model establishment, Chain Analysis Method could accurately describe some characteristic indexes of polymer, for example, number average molecular weight and conversion rate etc. DSO simulation result shows, dynamic model of Chain Analysis Method can describe polymerization process fine.Dynamic model based on the Chain Analysis Method can be developed to the dynamic simulation training system, it can super real-time simulate the startup and shutdown and emergency treatment of the polymerization process. This system has great application prospect.
