Polypropylene,a polymer of propylene monomer,is widely used in thermoplastic resin.In recent years,the polypropylene production technology used in domestic chemical plants is imported from abroad and it is essential to develop the domestic process packages.Therefore,the SPG polypropylene process which is developed and own the intellectual property by domestic company is chosen as the main research object in this dissertation.The main content of this dissertation is the dynamic simulation based on‘chain analysis’which is a method of using a limited number of basic units to combine an infinite variety of polymer molecular structures.According to the literature of polyprolene,the SPG polypropylene process comprise a polymerization unit,a polypropylene refining unit and a propylene recovery unit.Then,use the ’chain analysis’ to analyze the reaction process and decide the chain reaction equation in order to calculate the reaction heat which is based on the chemical bond energy data.After that,use Unisim Design to simulate the steady state of the process.Using the DSO platform to establish the reaction mechanism and run dynamic process simulation in order to get the dynamic change process of the SPG polypropylene process.Through the steady state process simulation,the number-average molecular weight of the polypropylene product and the temperature and pressure of the main unit equipment is obtained.Comparing with the industrial data,the accuracy of the steady-state process simulation is verified.The data foundation for dynamic modeling is provided through the steady state process simulation.Compare the dynamic process simulation data with the steady state simulation data to verify the accuracy of the dynamic model.On the basis of dynamic model,the influence of several factors on the process and the rationality of the process control scheme are discussed.From the above results,the practicability of the ’chain analysis’ in the simulation of polymerization reaction is demonstrated.The SPG polypropylene equipment simulator based on the dynamic simulation has practicability and can be used for prediction,optimization and training of chemical production.
