Research And Application On Post Processing For Five-Axis CNC Machining Center

Modern manufacturing bring forward more and more request to CNC equipment, require that the equipment can achieve high speed, high efficiency, high precision and complex parts processing.5-axis CNC machine tool, as the modern equipment processing complicated part, has been used widely. Development and application of five-axis CNC machine tool need resolve a series of key technical issues, which is very important how to compile the NC procedures of five-axis NC machining. The method that NC procedures of five-axis NC machining compile mostly use computer aided design, and the primary technology is post-processing techniques. Because five-axis NC machine tool structure have much form, the development of the soft of five-axis post-processing, especially considering the spatial location of the compensation function, has become very difficult.If post-processing problem can't be solved, the small problem is that processing equipment can not play a range of new features and advantages of processing efficiency, and the serious problem is that the wrong NC procedure can cause an accident.In this paper, five-axis machining center, a three-axis vertical machining center with a dual rotary table, as the study object, stuy how to complile the CNC procedure of the complex part, and develop the soft of special post-processing. The following content is researched:(1) Based on the post-processing algorithm for five-axis machine tool, and study of the five-axis CNC machine tools and CNC system, with the software of VB, the article works out a software of post-processing for 5-axis CNC machine with dual rotary table.(2) With the assistance of UG software, a processing technology plan towards the impeller is established, generate the tool path of processing impeller. With the software of special post-processing for 5-axis and UG/Post Builder, setting a post-processing for 5-axis CNC machine tool, generate a program of processing the impeller. The article compare the NC program that using the software of special post-processing generate with that using UG/Post generate, the results show the software of post-processing can process CLF effectively and generate the NC program.(3) The model of 5-asix CNC machine tool with dual rotary table is founded with the software of VERICUT, simulate the process of processing the impeller and prove the program successfully.(4) The impeller is processed at 5-asix CNC machine tool. The whole process indicates the theory that the article deduces and the exploitative special post-processing program is right.The paper's research has some important significance at developing the software of post-processing for 5-axis CNC machine and resolving the related problem of post-processing for 5-axis CNC machine.
