In the later period during the gas well production, the formation pressure, gas rate and carry capacity would be reducted, the part of formation water in the wellbore will stay in well bottom causing fluid accumulation. The accumulation fluid pressure would balance the formation pressure; it will cause the working condition worsening, gas production reduction and even flooding production suspension, so the drainage gas recovery technology is need. Foam drainage gas recovery technology injects foam angent through wellhead to the well hole. After the foam angent contacting with well hole water, with the aid of gas agitation, massive low density watery foam will production and flow with gas to the ground. This technology has the features of fewer invest, low cost, quick effective, easy to implement and would not affect gas well regular production, therefore is widely used. Based on the foam drainage gas recovery technology elementary theory, according to Yu Lin gas field reservoir characteristic as well as production condition, the foam drainage gas recovery technology was optimized from the aspects of foam agent optimization, computation of critical water carrying volume, foam injection technology. The gas field treatment was carried out and got good drainage gas recovery effect.
