Impurities affect the transport efficiency of coal, and coal can not meet the quality requirements of users, so we need an election on coal.Coal election is a complex process. Equipment start and stop operation must be strictly in the production process. All aspects of production need to be monitored, and a large number of parameters need to analysis. Therefore, strict production process control, monitoring data transmission fast, accurately and timely feedback of surveillance data are the modern trend of coal election. In this paper, in order to improve production efficiency and automation level of coal election, centralized control system is applied to the coal election control. In the control system, Omron PLC, as the next crew, controls equipment start and stop order and monitors and collects data. IFIX as the host computer monitors equipment operating conditions and display monitors data and generates reports, etc. Based on the issues of how much flotation medicine to add, BP neural network is proposed. Simulation results show that this method is feasible.
