Coal is the main source of energy in China,and also bottom protection energy.With the increase of coal mining mechanization,the coal slime content in the raw coal of coal preparation plant is increasing and the ash content is gradually increasing.Flotation is a common technology for fine coal slime separation in coal processing plants.However,the effect of flotation is affected by a variety of factors,and the level of workers required to operate the plant is high,which is not conducive to the precise adjustment and control of the flotation effect.At present,the overall level of flotation intelligence in China’s coal processing plants is low,which is one of the bottlenecks restricting the intelligent production and management of coal processing plants.In this thesis,the intelligent research of the flotation system in Chaili coal preparation plant is carried out in five aspects,including the detection of the operation effect of the existing flotation process,exploration and optimization of flotation process parameters,adjustment of industrial flotation machines,the construction of intelligent dosing models for flotation and the intelligent realization process and effect evaluation of the flotation system.With the objective of optimizing the flotation effect of fine coal slime and enhancing the intelligence of the flotation system,the upgrade of its flotation system is promoted in conjunction with computer technology.The existing flotation process at the Chaili Coal Processing Plant has problems such as low ash passing rate of the flotation clean coal,low flotation perfection index and low level of intelligence.Laboratory flotation tests have shown that:(1)The order of significance of factors affecting the ash content,yield and perfection index of flotation clean coal is:collector>frother>aeration rate>slurry concentration;(2)Ash-qualified clean coal can be obtained through laboratory flotation machine parameter optimization.On the basis of the laboratory tests,adjustment of the industrial flotation machine in the coal processing plant was carried out and the optimum industrial operating parameters of the flotation machine were obtained.Based on the industrial adjusting data,the flotation process variables were modelled and"4-input-2-output"flotation dosing models were constructed with the ash of flotation clean coal,feed concentration,feed flow rate and ash content of the raw coal as inputs and the dosage of collector and frother as outputs.After comprehensive comparison,the BP neural network was determined to be the best intelligent flotation dosing prediction model,with a goodness-of-fit R~2 of 0.84,RMSE of 1.25 and MAPE of 6.89%for the collector dosage and R~2of 0.87,RMSE of 0.26 and MAPE of 23.10%for the frother dosage in the test set.The performance of the equipment and sensors required for intelligent flotation was tested for industrial application and the results showed that all equipment met the requirements for online detection in plant.In order to cope with the impact of fluctuations in the ash content of the flotation feed and model prediction error on the flotation effect,a fuzzy control feedback rule table was designed based on the deviation of the ash of flotation clean coal and the rate of change of the deviation,and an intelligent control strategy of"feed-forward optimization+feedback fine-tuning"was constructed to further optimize the flotation effect.The industrial tests showed that the ash passing rate of the clean coal increased from 15%to 75%before the transformation,and the average value of flotation perfection index increased from 48.14%to 61.05%.It can be seen that the initial transformation of the intelligent flotation system of the Chaili coal processing plant can achieve the purpose of improving the stability of the ash content of flotation clean coal,improving the degree of flotation perfection and improving the intelligence level of the Chaili coal processing plant.
