A Research Effection Of Appreciation Of RMB To The Jiangxi Textile Exportation

Recently, RMB appreciation has depply influnced the whole economy of our country, especially for those export sectors. As one of the major province export textiles, Jiangxi has to find ways to guarantee the sustainable development of this industry in the context of RMB appreciation.Therefore, Analysising the RMB appreciation that takes effect on the development of textile export in Jiangxi has theoretical and realistic meaning.Fistly, this essay summarizes the classical theories about RMB appreciation, such as Exchange Rate Pass Theroy, the Effect of Exchange Rate on Trade Balance and so on. Then, some research about the trend of the appreciation of RMB as well as the decreasing of the trade flow of the exports of textiles in jiangxi were done to show the negative relation between them. The following result of empirical study further proved this negative relationship. Then, this paper takes Jiangxi Textile Group IMP&EXP.CO.LTD as an example and measures to hedge the exchange rate risk are presented by instances. Lastly, based on the theoretical and empirical analysis, this thesis sums up how the RMB appreciation affects on jiangxi's textile export and present related suggestion and solution.
