Cultural relics signed our history of civilization, is an important part of traditional culture. Theprotection of cultural site landscape plant and ecological environment is the based conditions of culturaldiversity protection, it can provide good environment to inherit civilization. With the acceleration ofurbanization, cultural relies living space is smaller, ecological environmental damage is more serious, ancient culture gradually forgotten by humans. The problem of repair the view of the plant andecological environment in the site is urgently to be solved. In this paper, to effectively protect thediversity of plant landscape in Hemudu site, and repair the ecological environment, based on theinvestigation of the scene and the summary of the related materials in Hemudu site, ancient plant andecological environment is specifically analyze, mainly analyze the present situation of landscape plantsin Hemudu site and its surroundings. Then ecological restoration theory and model is proposed. Themain research results of this paper are as follows:(1) A study on ancient plant and ecological in Hemudu. There are63genera of seed plants belongto48families in all, including61.9%of tropical and subtropical species. Hemudu agriculture developedmore early and is skilled. Rice Cultivation Culture is the biggest characteristic of hemudu site. It haveover7000years history of artificial planting rice. In the ancient times, because of the changing climatein NingShao plain region, Hemudu ancestors experienced transgression and recession. They movedfrom one spot to another, finally settled in Hemudu site area. More than7000years ago, the climate ofHemudu is similar to Guangdong province, Guangxi province and the south of subtropical in nowadays.Average temperature is about22.5℃.(2) Analysing the present situation of landscape plants in Hemudu site and its surroundings. Theinvestigation involves143species, which belong to61families and109genera. The selection andlayout of plants in Hemudu site exhibition area are too urbanizational, and is short of ecologicalfunction, landscape function and economic benefit. The diversity index of the plants on surroundingmountains is relatively low. The changing of community aspect is not obviously. The species ofhardwood is more than conifer. Community is vulnerable by pests. Fire prevention ability is relativelybad. Community is not so stable. Plant diversity index in wetland near Hemudu Site is relatively high. Itis rich of Herb species. But the proportion of invasive weeds is high, while tree layer and Shrub layer is low. Landscape effect is not so good.(3) A study on ecological restoration theory and mode in Hemudu Site. Through summarizecorrelative ecological restoration theory, then put forward that ecological restoration in Hemudu Siteshould follow theory of biodiversity theory, ecological system theory, culture renovation theory. At thesame time it should stick to the principle of the true, coordination, function and native. According to thehistory of the Hemudu site and its wetland plant landscape features,102spieces plants and4kindsecological restoration mode are recommended for ecological restoration in Hemudu Site. Includinglocal type which is apply to exhibition area and mountains, natural type which is apply to mountains andwetland, humanistic type which is apply to exhibition area, economy type which is apply to exhibitionarea and mountains.
