The economy and the development in the sea area near Caofeidian is more andmore active, the geographical position is superior, it has become a demonstration areaof the marine economic development in China, the marine enviro risk and thedevastated impact are very marked. So the geohazard risk assnment and resources laythe foundation for sustainable development of key marine. However, the Caofeidianarea is in the complex geology environment of see-land interaction, the geohazardevaluate index in this area is a great important research, the results have extensivevaluable.The geologic information and physical geography information in the area areperformed in this article. In depth analysis of the geomorphological features, lots ofcorrelative data are collected and anaysized, geohazards are recognized, the evaluateindex system is built, the geohazards map and the geomorphological map in the zoneare mapped, the theory of fuzzy mathematics evaluation model is established. Theresults and conclusions are:The geomorphological in the sea area near Caofeidian is analyzed, the slope andsurface roughness are extracted, the geomorphological unit is classified, and then, thegeomorphologic map is compiled. The geomorphological types in Caofeidian studyzone: accumulative nearshore slope, erosive-accumulative nearshore slope,accumulative nearshore bench, erosive nearshore bench, accumulative shelf plain,erosive shelf plain and erosive shelf depression. According to the distribution of theabove geomorphologic units, these are analyzed.The potential geohazards in the sea area near Caofeidian were analysed andclassified, the geohazard map of the study area is compiled, and studied the spatialdistribution characteristics of the geohazards which are closely related to marineengineering, such as shallow gas, active sand waves, seafloor erosion, active fault, buried cross-bedded sand layers, steep slopes, steep scarps and grooves, areexamined.According to the characteristics in Caofeidian study area, we chose five evaluateindexes, earthquake, slope, surface roughness, sediment type and the type ofgeohazard. The effect of earthquake to the other evaluation is analyzed, the evaluationindexes system what have earthquake or not have built, separately calculated theweight of these two index systems, and these are classified in accordance with harmdegree. The evaluation index system meet the need.The geohazard risk zonation is made in the marine near Caofeidian. According totwo evaluate indexes, the area is divided into5levels, that are high risk areas, upperrisk areas, middle risk areas, lower risk areas and low risk areas.
