Agriculture resources is the foundation of national development, and the foundation of people's survival. Agricultural resources have the characteristics of the space distribution and spatial correlation etc. Make use of the functions of three-dimensional GIS multidimensional information representation, processing and analysis etc provides strong support for agricultural resources management and decision. Along with the development of information, The agricultural resources information integration with a core of three-dimensional GIS technology has become one of the goals of the modern agriculture. So it urgent need a set of technology with mature theory to realize the specific business application.This paper summarizes the international research status of GIS and it used in agricultural, and compared the advantages and disadvantages of the various technical and implementation about this aspects. Base on it, explore and study the construction of agricultural resources three-dimensional model and the design, implementation and optimization of agricultural resources three-dimensional geographic information system based on Skyline. Achieved the target of Liaoning province agricultural resources three-dimensional visualization. Make agricultural management with the characters of three-dimensional and visualization and so on.This paper's work mainly include:(1) Completed the collection work of agricultural resources project attribute data, and established the attribute database and multimedia database.(2) The choice of development platform, use Skyline three-dimensional visualization technology platform developed the system. To realize integration expression of the agricultural resources management multi-source information, and completed the of agricultural management involves the integration of multi-source and heterogeneous. Realize the integration of discrete data, so that will be better serviced agriculture.(3) Make full use of the expansion function of Skyline second development, and combined the needs of agricultural resources three-dimensional GIS to do the second development, achieved the model editing function including the look for features model, polygon conversion model, buffering analysis model.(4) Constructing agricultural resources three-dimensional GIS models:agricultural resources three-dimensional GIS models include three-dimensional surface model, three-dimensional ground models and three-dimensional crop models. Under the guidance of the three-dimensional modeling theory, make use of three-dimensional modeling software Sketchup to finish the three-dimensional simulation of Liaoning facilities agricultural resources. Truly reflect the status of our province facilities agricultural resources, and achieve the construction of model library and meet the system support for massive data.(5) Developed agricultural resources three-dimensional GIS system. As example for Liaoning province facilities agriculture resource, achieved the system functions of display, browse, query, calculation, management and output. Formed a agricultural three-dimensional GIS system has the function of management, analysis, application. Realize the whole recognize and real-time management to our province facilities agriculture.(6) Achieved the optimization of the agricultural resources three-dimensional GIS system. Put forward the optimization method of agricultural resources three dimensional GIS system from the data organization, three-dimensional model and three-dimensional display. Further enhance the three-dimensional display, and improve system efficiency.
