Graphene is an ideal two-dimensional crystal; it not only exists very stable in the normally environment, but also show a lot of excellent properties. The electronic properties of graphene will vary with its size, shape and edge direction. Theoretical calculation of various geometrical shapes of single-layer graphene helps us to combine it with semiconductor industry. This paper was divided into three chapters.Chapter I introduces some basic properties of graphene, including the preparation of graphene, the structure and electronic properties of graphene.Chapter II describes the basic theory used in this paper, the non-equilibrium Green's function method based on the tight-binding model.Chapter III focuses on the electronic properties of graphene ribbons with different ends and widths, the most remarkable effect is the change of density of states and conductivity. |
