| The reform of mathematics education in China has been carried out nearly half a century. But until today, the effect of the reform is still not satisfactory. Even today, the different understanding is still existed in questions like these:"What is mathematics?" and "What is the purpose of mathematics education?" However, the importance of mathematics education' s function in personal training has become a common view. In era of information, mathematics and the mathematical thinking is spread in every corner of our life. In 2003, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "high school mathematics curriculum standards" (experimental edition), which mainly introduces the mathematics culture. Since then, socio-cultural study of mathematics became one of main research topics to the mathematics educators. Based on the mathematical study of culture, the teaching of the advanced mathematics of the high vocational college students enable students not only to acquire a certain amount of mathematical knowledge, but also to improve the research or academic quality of vocational students in mathematics.Against this background, combing with the special situation of the students in vocational training colleges, it has a significant and practical meaning in deeply researching the situation of the mathematical culture accomplishment of the vocational students to strengthen the mathematical culture accomplishment of the high vocational students, providing the theoretical base to improve the teachers' teaching methods and teaching results.This paper studies in mathematics and culture as the starting point and combines learning status of high vocational students in advance mathematics study to research and innovate the vocational teaching model. In this paper, it explains the mathematical culture accomplishment through the analysis of the inquiry and investigations, giving the concept of the mathematical culture and mathematical culture accomplishment. Then, regarding our high vocational students as the object, we carried out a systematic analysis of the overall level of the high vocational student's mathematical culture accomplishment through the questionnaire. |
