Endangered Species are endangered wildlife that are threatened by their own reasons or human activities or natural disasters. They are precious, irreplaceable, and renewable natural resources. They play an important role in maintaining ecological balance. The purpose of this study is to analyze wild endangered animals'species composition and grade distribution, floristic composition and other characteristics in Jiangsu. We collect information on the distribution of endangered species taking areas and counties as a unit, and use geographic information system technology (GIS) to build endangered species in geographic space distribution and analyze the causes. We also excluded priority conservation areas algorithm derived by Dobson, describe the status of their evaluation, proposed the corresponding protection measures. It will increase the protection investment and develop action plans. It also has important reference value and practical significance on the establishment of nature reserves and other project work and research topics. The main conclusions are as follows:1. There are 59 generas,35 families and 83 species of endangered terrestrial vertebrates in Jiangsu Province. According to species composition analysis, it has 9 kinds of mammals, 4 kinds of amphibians, reptiles,17 kinds of endangered birds,53 species; According to classification, there were 3 critically endangered animals(CR),16 endangered (EN),32 vulnerable an 32 near threatened (NT) species. The animals in Jiangsu both have characteristics of the geographical division Palaearctic and Oriental species. Compared endangered species with neighboring Province, such as Zhejiang, Anhui and Shandong Province, the Jaccard similarity coefficients are 0.323,0.309 and 0.393, indicating that endangered species in Jiangsu are some unique, and the number of accounts for 9.75% of the number of endangered species, so it was great value to conserve endangered terrestrial vertebrates in Jiangsu Province.2. Yi xing is the most in the 73 areas and couties of Jiangsu province. From the distribution divided by counties, the endangered animals distribution center first concentrated in the southwest hills and mountains, then concentrated in the eastern and southern coastal plains, central fewer endangered species. This is mainly due to the terrain, heat and human factors. Second, there is a linear relationship between the Endangered Species richness and total species richness(r=0.756). The richer the overall total species is, the higher t the number of endangered specie is.3. Based on similarity of species composition cluster analysis, when the distance between the two groups was 24.0, the 73 geographical units can be divided into 3 groups,Ⅰsouth of the Yangtze River, namely, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Suzhou, Changzhou, Wuxi;ⅡYancheng;ⅡNorthern Yangtze River addition to Yancheng. When 20.5, it was divided into 4 groups,Ⅰsouth of the Yangtze River;ⅡYancheng;ⅢA Lianyungang,ⅢB plains north of the Yangtze River, namely, Xuzhou, Suqian, Huai'an, Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou. When 18.5, there was 5 groups,Ⅰsouth of the Yangtze River;ⅡYancheng;ⅢA Lianyungang;ⅢBa north of the Huaihe River, the Xuzhou, Suqian, Huai'an;ⅢBb Yangtze River The area south of the North Huai River, which Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou. The clustering results show that the distribution of Jiangsu Province, terrestrial vertebrate endangered by natural and geographical sub-regions, topography, and the combined effect of human activities.4. Yixing, Dafeng, Pukou, Changshu, Xinyi and Lianyungang city, the six areas and counties have all 83 endangered species, and they are also areas to be concerned about biodiversity conservation. Present. In the six counties, in the area of the region accounted for only Dafeng land area of 25.5%, higher than the national average, and the other five counties of protected areas are lower than the national average. Hence the need to enhance habitat protection and restoration, ex situ conservation, protection and enhancement genetic research, environmental monitoring measures to strengthen the protection of endangered species.
